How do you write my CV?

Once you’ve placed your order, I’ll be in touch within one working day to explain the next steps. I’ll ask you to complete a short registration form covering your experience, qualifications and work history, and we’ll arrange a phone or video call at a time that suits you.

During our conversation, I’ll ask further questions to get a better understanding of your background, strengths and the type of role you’re looking for. This helps me write a CV that reflects your experience and personality.

Once I have everything I need, I’ll begin working on your CV. You’ll receive a first draft to review, with revisions included so we can make sure you’re happy with the final result.

Why hire a CV writer?

Writing about yourself isn’t always easy, especially when you’ve spent years looking after other people! It can be difficult to know what to include, how to describe your experience or what families and agencies are looking for.

Working with a CV writer can help you highlight your strengths, present your experience clearly and feel more confident when applying for new roles.

What information do I need to provide?

I’ll ask about your qualifications, training, employment history and achievements. I’ll also want to know a little about your personality, interests and the type of role you’re looking for.

If you already have a CV, that’s a great starting point, even if it’s out of date.

How long will my CV take?

My standard turnaround time for a first draft is 3–4 working days once I’ve received all the information I need. Further edits are usually completed within 3 working days.

For clients with more than 10 years of employment history, the first draft may take 3–5 working days.

If you need your CV urgently, I also offer a 24-hour express service for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Can I book coaching without a CV rewrite?

Absolutely! You can book a coaching session without purchasing a CV service.

Sessions are tailored to your needs and can cover interview preparation, confidence, salary expectations, trial days, contracts and navigating different types of nanny roles.

Whether you’re preparing for an interview, considering a career change or simply need some guidance, we can focus on whatever would be most useful to you.

Can I come back when I’ve started a new role?

Of course! I’m always happy to help update your CV with new experience, qualifications or achievements.

Existing clients can book updates at a reduced rate, depending on how much work is needed.

Do you offer refunds?

As my services are personalised, cancellation and refund arrangements depend on whether work has already started and how much has been completed.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible. Your statutory cancellation rights will always be respected.

How long do I have to complete my CV?

To keep projects moving, I ask that all requested information and feedback on drafts is provided within 30 days of placing your order.

If I haven’t heard from you within that time, your project may be closed. Any further work after this period may require an additional fee.

Is my data safe?

Your personal information and documents are handled confidentially and used to provide the services you’ve requested.
